I come from a family of cake makers, my grandmother was a baker as well as my mom and now me. I run and operate my specialty treats company along side my business partner and husband Fernando Vargas. I have always had a "sweet tooth" and an absolute love for baking since an early age. My first love is art and putting my creativity into everything that I do.
While in school I studied both art and business, so when it came time to start my own company the two went hand in hand.
For years I helped create cakes, lollipops and assorted treats for friends and family. I did this because I found great joy in seeing all the smiles and hearing the many thanks from everyone. Besides the thanks I also received many inquiries as to why I didn't do this professionally. I never thought twice about the question, I was just having fun.
When my youngest child had turned two I was ready to get back into the business world. Unfortunately, I did not find a new job as easily as I thought I would.
As the job search was looking grim it came to me, "If no one is hiring why don't I hire myself?"
So I did just that, and Party-Flavors was born.
At Party-Flavors we believe that the 'little something sweet' at the end of a party always tops off the event and sends your guests home happy. That same satisfying-happy moment is what we strive to achieve in every order we fill.
